SISTEM INFORMASI E – LEARNING BERBASIS WEB PADA SMA KATOLIK SANTO ANDREAS PALU

Abstract


Banyaknya penerapan e-learning di lembaga pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa konsep e-learning saat ini dianut oleh masyarakat. Di SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu, pembelajaran masih dilakukan secara tradisional, hanya dengan kegiatan tatap muka dilakukan di ruang kelas pada waktu dan lokasi yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi e-learning yang akan membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar online di SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Jenis dan Sumber Data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan pustaka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah penelitian rekayasa dengan menitik beratkan pada rekayasa perangkat lunak dengan menggunakan paradigma prototype. Bahasa pemrograman menggunakan PHP dan database menggunakan MySQL. Hasil penelitian berupa Sistem Informasi E–Learning Berbasis Web Pada SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu yang dapat memberi solusi dan sarana alternatif untuk proses belajar mengajar yang menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Sistem Informasi E–Learning Berbasis Web Pada SMA Katolik Santo Andreas Palu terdiri dari menu admin, pengajar (guru) dan siswa. Proses implementasi sistem informasi ini ditujukan untuk siswa kelas X, dan saat ini hanya dapat diakses secara offline melalui localhost. Pengujian Sistem Informasi E–Learning menggunakan metode black box yang berfokus pada kebutuhan fungsional perangkat lunak.
